Goals

Pendola Center is in a unique time of transition. Both the reconstruction needed after the Winter 2005 fire and the search for a new director have taken longer than anticipated. The Board of Directors of the Friends of Pendola is focusing its efforts on these issues so that Pendola Center can resume normal operations as soon as possible.

To fulfill its mission of 'celebrating and advancing the mission of Pendola Center,' the Friends of Pendola have established three fundamental goals through the end of 2006.

1. Assit the Diocese of Sacramento in the recruitment, selection, and orientation of a new Director.

2. Provide financial support to the reconstruction effort that will fund the expansion of the new facility beyond its original capacity.

3. Keep the members of Friends of Pendola and the larger community informed about the status of Pendola Center, its needs, and how they can help.

For us to pursue these efforts, the Board of Directors of the Friends of Pendola have established two goals for their internal operations.

1. Stabilize funding for Friends of Pendola Operations.

2. Recruit new board members
